Crew Supervisor:
Crenshaw’s Chicken and Waffles is looking to add to their team! Now hiring a Shift Supervisor to be a part of this growing and exciting kitchen located in the Chandler Street Suites in Buffalo, New York.
Job Description:
Oversee and assist staff in daily tasks to ensure proper execution and quality of products
Understanding and ability to execute each kitchen role as needed and required
Set up workstations as required for effective service
Maintains a clean and organized workstation at all times
Assists with inventory management and restocking ingredients.
Checking expected quantity and quality of received orders
Inputting necessary product orders for kitchen
Perform opening and closing duties for proper restaurant function and safety
Process customer transactions and maintains an accurate cash drawer throughout shifts
Be pleasant and alert to customer needs. Greet guests as they enter the restaurant
Prepare orders quickly and accurately, while following all preparation, health, and safety standards and guidelines when needed.
Ability to properly coach and educate Crew Members to brand standards and expectations.
Ensure completion of assigned prep work for stocking and set up of work area.
Assist with end of day cleaning and line closing.
Inform Upper Management/Owner promptly of all problems or unusual matters of significance.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested by management staff.
Work professionally with others to ensure brand standards are consistent and maintained
Ability to have fun, smile and be a part of a locally started and growing company :)
This position is Full-Time with the hours worked throughout the week being 35-40. This position requires opening and closing capabilities, with weekends required.
The Supervisor position is paid $17.50 - $19.50/hour. This is a non-exempt and tipped eligible position.

Properly utilize dishwasher, fryer and waffle makers as instructed and necessary
Ability to learn and execute line tasks and duties as required
Assists with inventory management and restocking ingredients
Process customer transactions and maintains an accurate cash drawer throughout shifts
Be pleasant and alert to customer needs. Greet guests as they enter the restaurant
Prepare orders quickly and accurately, while following all preparation, health, and safety standards and guidelines when needed.
Complete assigned prep work for stocking and set up of work area.
Stock and execute proper rotation of products.
Assist with end of day cleaning and line closing
Inform immediate supervisor promptly of all problems or unusual matters of significance.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested by management staff or shift leaders.
Work professionally with others to ensure brand standards are consistent and maintained
Ability to have fun, smile and be a part of a locally started and growing company :)
This position is part-time with the maximum hours being 25 per week. This is primarily a closing position with the hours scheduled to be 3pm-8:30pm during business hours, with weekends required.
The Crew position is paid the NYS minimum hourly wage of $15.50/hour. This is a non-exempt and tipped eligible position.
